The Portal takes the audience on a journey of change, growth, and evolution. Through a combination of music and visual performance, the show explores the different stages of transformation that we all go through in life.

The show opens with "Greatest Journey," from Halo 3 by Martin O’Donnell & Michael Salvatori. This piece sets the tone for the show, creating a sense of adventure and excitement as the audience prepares to embark on a journey of discovery.

"Becoming One of 'The People'; Becoming One With Neytiri," from Avatar by James Horner, is the next movement of the show. This piece represents the first stage of transformation, as the protagonist discovers a new world and begins to adapt to its customs and ways of life. The movement develops with "Mercury" and "Jupiter" from The Planets by Gustav Holst and ends with "One Final Effort," from Halo 3 by Martin O’Donnell & Michael Salvatori, showcasing the different stages of evolution and growth that occur in this new environment.

"For Good," from Wicked by Stephen Schwartz is a heartfelt reflection on the impact that others can have on our lives, and how their influence can shape us into the people we become. It serves as a reminder that, even though change is necessary, we are still grateful for what has come before.

The show then picks up the pace with "Enterprising Young Men," from Star Trek by Michael Giacchino. This piece represents the next stage of transformation, as the protagonist begins to explore new horizons and embrace new challenges. The show concludes with "Light is Green", from Halo 5: Guardians by Kazuma Jinnouchi. This piece is a triumphant conclusion to the show, representing the final stage of transformation as the protagonist emerges stronger, wiser, and more confident than ever before.

The Portal creates a powerful and emotional experience for the audience, showcasing the different stages of transformation and growth that we all experience in life. Through the use of music and visual performance, the show encourages us to embrace change, take risks, and grow into the people we are meant to be.
