Gr. 4-5: Experienced-Advanced         Duration: ca. 7:35

The Lightning Field is a powerful and evocative show inspired by the striking Land Art created by Walter De Maria in the high desert of western New Mexico. The music reflects the progression of a thunderstorm, capturing the intensity and drama of this natural phenomenon.

The show opens with the ambient and ethereal sounds of "Mother of All Sources" by Tangerine Dream, setting the stage for the coming storm. "The Lightning Strike: I. What if This Storm Ends?" by Snow Patrol builds tension and excitement as the storm approaches with "Eleven" by yMusic, capturing the raw energy of the lightning strikes and thunderclaps.

"Thunderclouds" by LSD ft. Labrinth, Sia, Diplo, is a hauntingly beautiful song that perfectly captures the mood of the eye of the storm.

The show concludes with a triumphant and electrifying closing sequence. We begin with the iconic "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC, building excitement and energy. The epic "Ride the Lightning" by Metallica builds to a powerful and dramatic climax, concluding with a reprise of "Thunderstruck," bringing the show full circle and leaving the audience with a powerful and memorable experience.
