The band performs the second movement of Chamber Symphony in C minor, Op. 11a by Dmitri Shostakovich, a lively and energetic piece of music that perfectly captures the aliens' fascination with humanity.The show takes a romantic turn as an alien and a human fall in love, accompanied by Journey's classic rock ballad "Open Arms". This tender and emotional moment is a highlight of the show, as the band showcases its versatility in tackling a wide range of musical styles.The show takes a dramatic turn as the ultimate fate of humanity is revealed. "The Hand of Fate Part 1 & Part 2" from Signs by James Newton Howard, a tense and suspenseful piece of music, perfectly captures the aliens' evil intent. The show closes with Symphony No. 7 Leningrad by Dmitri Shostakovich, a powerful and emotional work that captures the tragedy of humanity's demise.
