Phoenix Rising is a show about overcoming adversity and rising from the ashes. The Firebird by Igor Stravinsky provides the perfect soundtrack for this journey, with its soaring melodies and triumphant themes.Part 1 features music from The Firebird that captures the sense of anticipation and excitement that comes with the beginning of a new journey. As the band plays, the audience can feel the sense of hope that comes with starting something new.Part 2 slows things down a bit with solemn music from The Firebird mixed with "Fly to Paradise" by Eric Whitacre. This section is about reflection and introspection, as the band takes a moment to think about what they have been through and what they have learned.Part 3 brings back The Firebird, mixing the dark and angry infernal dance with the soaring climax from "Fly to Paradise." This movement is about overcoming adversity and rising from the ashes, as the music is both triumphant and cathartic. The audience can feel the sense of triumph and relief that comes with overcoming challenges and emerging stronger on the other side.Phoenix Rising is a show that celebrates the human spirit and the power of perseverance.
